Kashmiri Kahwa

Kahwa is the traditional green tea preparation of Kashmir. Unlike the milk-heavy chais of the plains, Kahwa is clear, golden, and fragrant. It is brewed in a traditional copper kettle called a 'Samovar' heated by coals, infusing the water with the delicate flavors of saffron (kesar) and whole spices.
